Something I need to remember

25."Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26.Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27.Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? 28."And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29.Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30.If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31.So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32.For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

This weekend was great. Saturday evening, Jonathan and most of his family and I helped cater a Wedding for his Aunt. (tee hee, i just learned how to make a word into a link!) This was the biggest wedding I've been to/helped with. The wedding and reception were at Riverwood Mansion. Man, it was nice. and even though Jo's van broke down on our way there and on the way back, we managed to pull it off! However, i will say that if i never see Pink Lemonade again, I'll be okay with that! the people that were helping (Jeremy, Amy, Tom, Susan, Ken, and Several other great friends!) were great to be around and just made what could have been a tiring and awful time, so much fun.

Sunday, we went to Opry Mills to ...are you ready for this?...to audition for the Family FEUD!!! Even if we don't get on the show (we'll know in about 2 weeks if we made it), we had so much fun! it was Jonathan, Jeremy, Amy, Susan and i. (Tom was our alternate, but he chickened out) we had to play a mock game with another family, and they prepped us by saying, The way you get on the show, is to prove to us that you can make good TV. if you don't know an answer, make up a funny one. dead air is not good TV. so we get up there and our question is "Other than sleep, name something you do in bed" I hit my bell first and said "Make Love" that was #3. The other team said "Dream" that was answer #4 so we got to play, Jeremy said "Read" that was #1, Amy said "Snore" that was #2 Susan said "Watch TV" that was #5 All that was left for Jonathan to get the #6 answer and we would sweep the category! he said "toss and turn" ....X not on the board, so it was on me now. and i had nothing, and i knew i had nothing, so i tried to come up with the most creative thing i could..."Clip your Toenails!!" and i said it really enthusiastically, the guy that was playing host just looked at me like "you have lost your mind" but he said "Show me, Clip your toenails...X" but the crowd was still laughing so hard! it was great. so it was Jeremy's turn, and he said "nap" (Jeremy, that is a lot like sleeping!) X. 3 strikes and we were out, but the other team didn't get the 6th answer either so we still did alright. (the 6th answer was eat). we left that place laughing so hard. i hope we get to go to LA. I've never been to California! and it would be so much fun!
