Something I need to remember

25."Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26.Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27.Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ? 28."And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29.Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30.If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31.So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32.For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34.Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Okay, first blog on my new blog spot.
Jonas is getting so big right before my eyes. I am so glad i have kept up with his picture every month because i can really see the physical growth in him from day one! he's so close to walking now it's scary. i just know that one day i'm going to turn around and he's going to be walking and there won't be anything i can do to stop it!!! i told everyone when he started crawling, that we had a yard sale and sold everything below knee level. well, now that he's cruising and walking, we'll have to have another yard sale and sell everything below waist level!!! Today i have witnessed 2 steps by himself. right now we're playing outside. He's in his pack and play and he stood up holding on to the side. He let go, and walked to the other side, all the while looking at me and smiling. Jonathan said that today while i was in class, Jonathan gave Jonas a bath. after the bath, Jonathan wrapped Jonas up in a towel and carried him to the changing table to get a clean diaper and clothes on. After Jonathan unwrapped the towel from around Jonas, Jonas took the corner of the towel, and covered his face with it, and then a few seconds later, uncovered his face. Jonathan looked perplexed at Jonas...Then Jonas did it again, Dad caught on this time...Jonas deliberately played peek-a-boo!!!!

I'm begining to stress a little about my class. it's political Science...American Government. I like this subject...I'm just not very hip to the jive lingo if you catch my drift. I'm a little ashamed to say i have no idea who nancy pulosi is. i know i've heard her name, but i have no clue who she is or what she does. Same story with Alberto Gonzales...and what exactly is "rhetoric" i had to look it up...and to top off my feelings of inferiority in this class, i tried to make a contribution to a conversation and mistakenly said NCAA when i meant to say NAACP. I'm such an idiot. but i'm learning, and i'm really tryng to stay ahead of my studying so i don't get any further behind. personally, i blame my ignorance on coaches for history teachers in middle and high school and my own disregard for high school in general.

well, I just wanted to get some general thoughts out of my head, i really need to study now. Got a test on Thursday and a BEAST of a paper to write in the next few weeks.
